Business Plans
We can assist with the preparation of business plans and have good experience of working with partnerships. For example we were commissioned by the Environment Agency on behalf of the Bassenthwaite Lake Restoration Programme to carry out a number of tasks:
- Working with partners we prepared the Business Plan for 2008/9
- Clarified Terms of Reference for the partnership and its sub-groups
- Reviewed progress against the previous Business Plan
- Prepared an Achievements Report
It was important to take both a leading and facilitating role with the partners at various stages to develop not just the written documents but also the planning and consensus that goes behind them.
The Bassenthwaite Lake Restoration Programme co-ordinates and directs the work of eight partners in the protection and enhancement of the lake and its catchment: Environment Agency, the Lake District National Park Authority, The National Trust, Natural England, the Forestry Commission, United Utilities, Cumbria Tourism, and Cumbria County Council Children's Services.
