Shirley Muir Associates is an environment and heritage consultancy, based in north Cumbria since 2007. Our work has ranged across the UK from the Isle of Skye in the north to the Vale of Evesham in the south. We provide a range of services and, whilst specialising in landscape and heritage, our business planning, project management and assessment expertise can be applied across a range of projects.

We have a successful track record of fund-raising and project management, backed up by over thirty years’ experience of working in environment, heritage and culture and with a range of communities, government, public, commercial and charitable bodies. We are a husband and wife team; Shirley Muir established the consultancy and Dave Muir joined full-time in early 2013 due to the increased workload.

For all projects, the individual attention of Shirley and Dave Muir is guaranteed. For larger projects, or where additional expertise is required, we work with other Cumbrian-based consultancies.
